Giotto’s Bell Tower is a free standing bell tower which is a part of the complex of buildings which make up Florence Cathedral on the Piazza del Duomo in Florence. This tower stands adjacent the Basilica of Santa Maria del Fiore and the Baptistry of St. John. It is also one of the showpieces of the Florentine Gothic architecture designed by Giotto and has rich sculptural decorations.
